Hey all I have been listening to one album a day all year. I’m up to 127 albums! Anyway, this is the monthly roundup. I picked my favorite five, and bought the record of my favorite thanks to subscribers. Yay!
This looks a lot like the grade distribution in my HS classes! Taylor gets the A+ because she works her ass off and is a true genius, the rest are in the middle, and that damn John Mayer who never comes to class or does a damn thing fails. I’d love to hear why the F! I know you write about them in your IG stories but I just went and looked again and all it said was “ absolutely not” which I now remember seeing before and laughing about. Did you refuse to listen on principle?
Oh I listened to all of it. I take my commitment very seriously. Though with few exceptions (too long, Drake, AC/DC), I listen at least twice. I could only make it through one listen of Mayer. It was death by one thousand cuts. Or three, I guess. His voice. The lyrics. The music. I found it borderline unbearable.
